Proponents of the new “health care reform” bill claim over 30,000,000 more Americans will have insurance due to their efforts. However, over half of this estimated increase will result from increasing the income level for participating in Medicaid. This is not insurance, it is welfare. We could claim that all Americans had insurance if the government just gave it to them. Of course that is the ultimate goal of the Democrats. Where will we get the money? Taxes or inflation are the only options. So we get something (healthcare) for nothing and pay for it with taxes or as part of the price of everything we buy. As long as politicians have the ability to spend your money today and collect from your children or grandchildren they will do it. Take away their power to bankrupt America.
